Cost-effective Safety Support in Ripon, North Yorkshire
Cathedral Safety Services (CSS) is a health and safety consultancy based in Ripon, North Yorkshire, with a country-wide client base.
Clients range from local businesses employing less than five, through to large public limited companies such as the UK's leading DIY retailer employing many thousands. Phil Simmons established CSS in 1992 having gained considerable skills and experience of health and safety issues during twenty four years military service with the REME. After completion of services, his intention was to utilise skills gained from his knowledge and expertise gained through excellent training opportunities and manifold experiences.
Offering advice and practical input
As a direct result of the constantly changing legislation, Phil recognised a need within the market to offer advice and a practical input to small, localised businesses around his home in North Yorkshire - Cathedral Safety Services was established.
Helping businesses with limited resources
Health and safety legislation is constantly changing and it is difficult for many SMEs to keep on top of their legal obligations. All organisations without access to in-house safety experts are likely to struggle to implement cost effective compliance and in many cases, considerable sums of money can be wasted paying for unnecessary contracts, accident costs, claims, higher insurance premiums etc.
Put simply, Cathedral Safety Services provides low cost support for companies who do not employ a health and safety professional, and provides assistance where existing in-house expertise is limited.
